Do not install the DWL-650+ adapter into your computer before installling the driver software.

1) Install Drivers

		Begin by inserting the DWL-650+ CD into your CD drive. When the startup screen appears click Install Drivers & Utility. If the welcome screen does not appear, go to Start->Run and type D:\Setup.exe in the box. Replace D with the letter associated with your CD drive.
		After the welcome screen appears, click Next.
		You will then be prompted for the directory in which you want to install the files. We recommend that you use the default directory. Click Next to continue.
		Click the radio button beside "No, I will restart my computer later". Click Finish. If you have Windows 98 or Windows 2000, shut your computer down by clicking Start->Shut Down. If you have Windows XP, shut your computer down by clicking Start->Turn Off Computer.

2) Install Adapter

Insert the DWL-650+ Wireless Adapter into the Cardbus slot in your laptop.

Once you have installed the Adapter into the Cardbus slot, restart your computer. If you are running Windows 2000/XP, you will be asked if you would like to install the driver, even if it has not been digitially signed. Click Yes.
